Sri Lanka is reeling after Cyclone Ditwah swept through the island: floods, landslides, destroyed homes, and widespread displacement. Over 1.4 million people have been affected including hundreds of thousands of children and families left without food, safe water, or shelter.
InMetta has long worked with vulnerable communities across Sri Lanka. In times like these when emergency food aid, nutrition, and community solidarity matter most – our mission is more critical than ever.
WHAT WE’RE DOING:
– Delivering emergency food supplies to families who have lost homes and livelihoods.
– Providing nutritious food to children who are now out of school and at risk of hunger.
– Using our long-standing networks and local partners to reach remote and hard-hit districts quickly.
“In times of crisis, compassion is our greatest currency. Your support can bring food, hope, and healing NOW.”
